I had the pleasure of meeting Jing at the International Conventions in Chicago and Denver. I was in awe of her enthusiasm and knowledge on everything that is Toastmasters. She is a great leader; someone I could follow and learn from. Jing has a vision. She listens and understands what members want and need and she can be the voice on the Board of Directors on our behalf. I fully support her candidacy for International Director.
 

I have known Jing since 2018, as a determined person with clear vision and high level of understanding although our cultures are different. She is an amazing and humble leader who embodies the values of Toastmasters, ready to help and guide her fellow Toastmasters at various levels of the organization from all corners of the world.

Jing is an outstanding coach and mentor, with the confidence and knowledge to make difficult decisions for the greater good of the organization. She has given me guidance on more than one occasion about how to approach a challenging person or situation.

Jing is a bridge-builder. She instinctively knows how to connect people and information to achieve common goals. This natural ability sets her apart from her peers. She is generous with her time, knowledge and energy; enriching the lives of all who know her.

Jing has a natural ability to connect and inspire others. We were mighty pleased when Jing agreed to help as a Coaching Assistant in our Skills for Success course. Jing provided relevant examples when the group wrestled with applying leadership principles and she helped everyone lower their guard when we worked on flexibility and communication range.

For nearly 20 years I have watched Jing develop her skills to make her an excellent leader for our organization and her community. She is a motivator, strategic thinker, and visionary. The time is right for her to bring these skills and more, as an effective part of the team in the position of International Director for Toastmasters!

I had the pleasure of working with Jing in an enterprise-wide software implementation and her role as the project manager demonstrated her ability to deliver successful results and appropriately communicate with and allocate team members across various departments. Her background in technology brings expertise and critical thinking when analyzing tasks and associated risks. I would love the opportunity to work with Jing again!

I first worked with Jing on a special project for Toastmasters International. Working through her lens of member first, she brought a perspective that combined the logic of details, the emotion of member response, and the dimension of time: how would TI sustain this change over time? Her ability to think deeply about a topic, raise relevant questions, and lead the group to a decision are the traits I look for in a board member. I heartily and enthusiastically support Jing Humphreys for International Director, Region 5.
